[newbie] boot log?

Hi,   I'm getting an error from my soundcard when I boot up. I'll post another message about that in a few minutes.   Is there a way to access the information that scrolls by as you boot up after booting is finished? If so, please tell me how? I rebooted several times trying to copy the error message I mentioned. There must be a better way to access that information.   Thanks in advance!   Eric Jackson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
