I just set up my laptop for one of the sons to use while on training for the Navy. It has a built in Modem that shows up as a conexant HSF modem so I used the package on the 10.0 official CDs for HSF and by golly it worked with no problem. Used KPPP and he connected right up. Ya gotta love it. Just so anyone else dealing with the Compaq Presario 1700T laptop knows it is good out of the box. -- Dennis M. Linux user #180842
