Hi all
I have been using gmane to read the list as a newsreader for the last few months, but in the last few days have not been able to access
gmane from Mozilla or konqueror, either the gmane.org website or from the mail reader. I checked on another machine yesterday and the gmane website was up and running, so the problem appears to be mine. I checked from my wife's machine networked on the same router and running Mozilla under windows XP Home, and again gmane.org times out.
I have been playing around with settings on my ADSL router (Billion 5100) and have ports 25, 80 and 119 open under the NAT settings.
I realise that this is not really a Mandrake problem, but can't even open the gmane website to look at their FAQ's or email any of the contacts there.
I have subscribed to the list now, but the newsreader is actually much more convenient.
