Two ways; copy the updates from the CD to the hard drive and add the directory 
as a local source, or add the CD as a source and just keep updating it. If 
the updates file gets so large that it won't fit on a single disk that could 
become a problem. 

You won't be using "Mandrake Update" in either case. If you use the rpmdrake 
graphical interface just keep it set to show "all files by update 
availability." Any new versions will be listed there. It's even easier from a 
terminal, urpmi -a -c -f && urpmi --auto-select
