Two ways; copy the updates from the CD to the hard drive and add the directory as a local source, or add the CD as a source and just keep updating it. If the updates file gets so large that it won't fit on a single disk that could become a problem. You won't be using "Mandrake Update" in either case. If you use the rpmdrake graphical interface just keep it set to show "all files by update availability." Any new versions will be listed there. It's even easier from a terminal, urpmi -a -c -f && urpmi --auto-select Good luck; Charlie - -- Edmonton,AB,Canada User #244963 at http://counter.li.org Mandrakelinux release 10.1 (Cooker) for i586 kernel 2.6.7-1.sds.16mdk 16:05:30 up 3:21, 1 user, load average: 0.01, 0.02, 0.02 RAM wasn't built in a day. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFA8xADZqvqlrLPr5YRArlVAKCT+/wh0lZcTVNNHrh25ustYkKjHwCgm78e xDDOCGF/YM/RaL/dzs+6Bm8= =ei7K -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
