Hi All,
I'm trying to get Mono 1.0 installed on my box (along with
MonoDevelop). I need to get gtk-sharp-1.0 installed before I can
install Mono. I get a "No package named 'pango' found" error when I run
make. It is installed, but inside of my home directory. Also, if I
change my PKG_CONFIG_PATH variable to point to the pango directory, then
I get the same error message for a different library (mono.pc, etc.).

Is there a way to get the PKG_CONFIG_PATH variable to look inside
multiple directories? Do I need to reinstall all packages, etc. to be
inside the same directory (for the packages that it is looking for at
least)?

I'm not real experienced at installing something from source that has
this many dependencies and it's showing!

Thanks!
