Mandrake 6.1
------------
[Q1]
I and two of my friends have installed Linux-Mandrake all in the same night
just by chance and it happens that none of us can use telnet on ourselves?

$ telnet localhost

fails.... says it connected but then that the server dropped their connection

[Q2]
I installed a ssh rpm, I forget now weather it was a mandrake rpm, or one
that I just found... and the server isn't running. I know I could add it to
something like rc.local but is there some other way I should be doing this?
I've used Slackware & Debian for about 3 years now but I'm unfamiliar with how
rpm works and I don't want to break anything that is supposed to be done
automatically.

--Actually, I'm not sure if the server is running or not, but I certainly
can't connect to it. Maybe it is related to the telnet not allowing
connections?
