Hi,
I have a Mandrake 9.2 and installed tftp-server and tftp rpm from Mandrake
9.2 cd. The tftp server allows read and write access when the server and
client are of the same network eg. Server 192.168.0.254 and Client
192.168.0.100. But if I change IP address of the tftp server to a public
ip address eg. 203.125.45.3 the client cannot connect to the tftp server.
Ip address setup TFTP Server 203.125.45.3 Client 192.168.0.100(connected
to a ip masq server with a public ip add 203.125.45.4). What is lacking in
my setup? The error message are the following
TFTP server tftpd: write(ack): Operation not permitted
Client(PumpKIN) : Transmission of sdffsdfs.doc is timed out
: Transfer of sdffsdfs.doc was aborted
Command to run tftp /usr/sbin/in.tftpd -l -c -U 0 -v -s /var/lib/tftp/
