This may be linked to a logout trying to do a suspend. Maybe you have not a resume=/dev/hdX (swap partition in your boot cmdline). Or have a look at you BIOS and see if the poweroff button is configured as an ACPI command, you usually can switch from suspend to full shutdown. -- Warly
