Many thanks, Paul and Miark. I guess it might be caused by some plugins. I remember that when I tried to install mplayer plugin, firefox crashed quite a lot in case video clips (qt, avi, mpeg) were read. All firefox windows opened were off. I had to remove the mplayerplugin. Is there some way to check what's the cause?
By the way, I get a search sidebar but the "about plugins" is gone. Thanks again. Bests, Q.H.
