Try "urpmi auto-select -a" and see if that works. HTH
ANd now back to the original thread. Did the above work upon yoy updating urpmi?
Sorry, I thought I answered this already. Things seemed to work after I updated the database with urpmi.update. I had updated the database with the Software Media Manager before I ran urpmi --auto-select but that didn't fix the problem but urpmi.update straightened things out.
