Here's what I did: 1. Open the url you want as your home page (I think this technique would even allow you to have multiple urls in separate tabs, though I haven't tried it). 2. Resize the window to the size you want saved, if you don't like the default size (I found it too small for many of the web sites I visit). 3. Go to menu item Settings > Save view profile "webbrowsing"... 4. In the dialog, ensure that "Save URLs in profile" is checked. Also, if you did step #2 above, ensure that "Save window size in profile" is checked. Don't change the default selection of the "webbrowsing" profile. 5. Click the Save button. The next time you open Konqueror as a web browser, you'll see the url(s) you saved, with the window size you want. You can also change the "filemanagement" profile to save changes to the use of konqueror as a file manager (what you get when you open the Home desktop icon). And you can create custom profiles if you want, for different purposes. It's a pretty nice piece of semi-hidden functionality. -- Ron ronhd at users dot sourceforge dot net Opinions expressed here are all mine. "As you know, necessity is the mother of invention.
