The problem appears to be that noone has made an RPM for 10.0 as far as I can 
see.  Is there any chance of your getting the disks for 10.1?  You'd be a lot 
better off if you can.  There are several on-line vendors that offer cheap 
sets of disks, like cheapbytes.com and fastdiscs.com.  If that's not a 
possibility, make a tmp directory under your home and move the .gz file 
there.  Extract it, and there may be an instruction document there.  It's 
usual to install anything from a tarball to /usr/local.  If there are no 
specific instructions, follow Paul's.

The other option is to stick to Mozilla for the time being, until you can 
update to 10.1.
