You can try by plugging out any external hardware that might be connected via usb, etc. And see what happens. Could be some really new hardware are confusing the program.
Thanks - I did that, including changing mouse to usual port with adapter, and it loaded properly. Mouse jumps all over the place but I was able to use it. I tried different options in hardware config but still jumped around. However printer and sound worked beautifully, so some progress.
