urpmi is the command line version of Software Installer.  They both do the 
same job - locate the package you want and attempt to solve all dependency 
problems at the same time.  If you have recently installed you may have only 
your CDs defined as sources.  If that's so, you are missing a lot of good 
stuff.  Some is more recent than the CDs, and some can't be offered by 
Mandrake because of licensing issues.  To get these others is easy.

1)  Go to easyurpmi.zarb.org and select one source from each section.  You 
will be given a long command to copy and paste into a root console.  This 
will set up all those sources for you.

2) Go to eslrahc.com, find the page for your version (10.1, I presume?) and 
again paste in the command given to add his site to your sources.  Here there 
are lots of very uptodate packages.  You will also need to import his 
signature for the packages, which is done with
rpm --import http://www.eslrahc.com/10.1/CAE.asc
