This indicates that the parallel port is now visible.
On boot, the system indicates that cups is started. However the ssytm stil fails to see the printer.
Any Ideas

Chase out the gremlins?

Just kidding...
Does /proc/sys/dev/parport/parport0/autoprobe show anything?
