[newbie] Configure Samba with Gnome-linuxconf

I want to configure Samba to access my NT network using SAMBA.  I have a
redhat book that tells you how to do this using Gnome Linux-conf.   My
menu only hases Linux conf with does not have the side listing on the
left with the whole tree of options.  I found gnome-linuxconf in
/usr/bin but when I try to execute it I just get an error message prefer
tree view.  How do I get the whole GNOME Linuxconf to run and not just
the scaled down linuxconf which does not have the options I need?
