I did take a brief look at the site you sent on - then realised, that however selfish it seems I don't want to see such information.
I have some women friends who like me, have difficulty with the violence we see on television news, etc. I realise how crass this might sound, but we are sensitive people, and I think, just believe the overt violence, in all sorts of ways, including what you mention, is just too much. I know it doesn't make it go away, and I do take stances on things (espec at work).
What Hitler did is absolutely indefensible - unfortunately (I believe anyway) it happens, in other ways, all the time. Your point I guess ...
I hope Hitler's atrocities have not had a direct consequence for you - we in NZ tend to be somewhat immured from the long term effects on families, of WWII, other than the obvious loss of a young person. Not the indirect, long term effects ...
