Hi all,
The KDE3.4 is wonderful. I love it very much. However, there are still some hiccups that need to sort out, one of them is: I cannot shutdown my notebook. When I click on the "log out" then "shutdown" the screen blanks, then the logon screen appears again.
Is this a bug? How can I fix it? Thanks,

Couldn't help but notice this... is KDE 3.4 in one of the Mandrake releases or betas yes? Haven't used Mandrake on an HD recently (Debian addict here), but I use Move occasionally. Debian has 3.3 in the unstable branch, but 3.4 hasn't popped up yet (Like so many others it's probably being held back in anticipation of their upcoming stable release of Debian GNU/Linux 3.1), nor Gnome 2.10.

And of course, I love to tinker with the latest GUIs, and laugh about M$ inferior UI while I can (I fear Longhorn will be ahead, if it's really 3d like they claimed at first... wish those *NIX 3d DE projects would get a little more spotlight :-), they might grow faster). Of course if Longhorn's GUI is simply what they released as a download for Windows XP, that they called Longhorn, then it's simply XP with the theme thingy opened up... so you don't need M$ Plus just to theme the desktop. KDE's had that since... well... forever ;-).

Cheerio,
