Hi,

First...you are prob going to have to re-install Win98.  If you do the
reinstall into the same partition and  directory you will keep
everything as you had it.  Get that going first.  

If you already have your partitions then you dont need to worry any
about using partition magic again.   Just go ahead after you get win98
reinstalled and booting do another install of Mandrake WITHOUT the
partition magic.  Never did like that program myself....it can screw
you up royally.  

Before you do your re-install of either OS,  you might have to do an
fdisk of your boot sector...command for that  is 'fdisk  /mbr' without
the quotes.  Good luck...because partition magic can do the works on
your system.  Its a good program if everything goes as it
should...BUT...
