[newbie] user

Hi All,

I have a question, I know that you really shouldn't do your normal day to day
work under root.  But when I setup linux, adn they ask me to set up a user I
did.  Now I can't use ppp under the user.  I went and added ppp to my user, but
everytime I try and start kppp, it says my kernel doesn't support ppp and talk
to my system administrator.

If I use ppp under root first then restart kde under my user ppp works.  How do
I fix that.
