The only item on this list I can speak for is your printer...the HPDJ 812c.
The Deskjet series is a "Made for Win95/98" based setup. Linux users have found
it very difficult to get complete compatibility under Linux. I have the HPDJ
712c and I have been actively wrestling it for a week, and it doesnt even have
color support!.
