It's a "known bug" in most of the kernels since I"ve been playing with Linux (almost exactly one year now.) The hardware seems OK, although I'd suggest pulling the RAM and having it tested THOROUGHLY! That's most often the culprit when you're having system problems. It may just need to have the contacts cleaned. John
