I'm having a problem with Glib when compiling stuff, specifically the
"./configure" step. I'll get semi-far along, and then this pops up:

checking for glib-config... no
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.2... no
*** The glib-config script installed by GLIB could not be found
*** If GLIB was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GLIB_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to glib-config.
configure: error: *** GLIB >= 1.2.2 not installed - please install first ***

But then when I do a "rpm -q glib" this comes up:
glib-1.2.3-3mdk

>From the error message it seems that I could add it to my path, but 1) I
forgot how to do that (or, maybe I have to set some enviroment variable, so
how would I do that?) and 2) Where is glib (or the stuff I
need) located at so I can set it? I'm running Mandrake 6.1 w/ Gnome.
