I had the same problem under 6.1 (Helios?) with my SiS 559x chipset.
I had to use the 6.0 SVGA server to get it to work. 7.0 works fine
however. I'd suggest either run the 7.0 server, or do an rpm --U
--oldpackage <last server that worked>.rpm
