However there appears to be a problem with some of my window displays, for example my Gimp installation window and my K Panel configuration window. Both appear far to long for the desk top, even after hiding the lower panel. As I was intending to use smaller panels and task bar I opened this window only to find that after selecting the necessary changes, the apply and ok buttons were off the screen and out of the range of my mouse. Too the Gimp installation window is so long that I can't read all of the text and again have no buttons to select my choice. Do you please have any suggestions so that these windows open at a nice useable size. Is there a way to maybe change the opening default size for these and maybe other windows so that I can acheive the neatness of appearance that is displayed in you manuals. Thank you. > Yours sincerely, > Andrew Scotchmer ======================================== If the option windows are too large (video config problem?), just hold down the <alt> key while using the left mouse button to drage the window around the screen. You'll be able to reach "apply" and "OK".
