Hi, Oliver,
 
- For installing bootloader, network (change hostname, IP address, etc), you can use Linuxconf, type : linuxconf at command prompt
- For installing software, you can use kpackage (software that packaged with RPM format), type : kpackage at prompt.
- For installing hardware, maybe you can use isapnptools or if you use Mandrake 7.0 use DrakConf.

Now I am trying Mandrake ...
can somebody tell me, if there is an administration tool
( for installing a bootloader, hardware, software, network etc.)
and how it is called ?
