I don't how myip works as I use dyndns.org where updating your ip, via a web
page is pretty easy/painless. I never installed one of the auto update clients
(which all seem to be tars) and now have a static ip and don't need to update.
Not sure what/if you are asking about Apache. Once its installed its pretty
easy to setup from linuxconfig. For starters turn on indexes (heck you might
not even need to do that, I don't remember) and point your browser to
http://localhost or http://foo.myip.org/ (or however their naming scheme works)
