[newbie] Ports (ISA)

I recently installed the Mandrake 7.0 and cannot get the modem and
printer to work. I checked the interrupts information and the three used
for
modem (COM 2) : IR 03
serial port (COM 1): IR 04
parallel port - printer: IR 07
are not detected, everything else works fine. I have an ISA I/O.
What can I try/do about it?
