I use grip. http://www.nostatic.org/grip/ It requires cdparanoia and lame,
which you can download from rpmfind.net. Or if you want from the command line
only, use cdparanoia to get the .wav file, and then use lame to convert to
.mp3. Grip just does the same thing, only with a GUI interface.
