Hi there ! I have used your help to be able to boot in console mode. Then I rushed to change my lilo.conf file as recommended on a Linux on Inspiron web site. that is I added a vga=795 line in it. Rebooted. Black screen. I tried another suggestion, that is start at the prompt by: linux init 3 vga=795 but to no avail. Is there any recovery solution ? Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
