[newbie] TV Cards

I have just picked up a Studio PCTV Rave card which is based on the BT848
chipset.  I have installed this in myt machine and cannot get it to work.  I
know this is a bit OT, but if anyone here has a card like this, if they could
contact me off list to help me out I would really appreciate it.  I bought it
to ditch windows, but the only way I can get the card to work is through
windows!!!
I would really appreciate any help anyone can give.
