[newbie] DPMS ANYONE AT ALL?

When i start Xwin i get the error X11 Server lack DPMS Support. I know it had something to do with the monitor. But i dont know how to either turn it on in the server or just make it so the annoying message doesnt pop up every time .     Thanx
