does anyone know of a free isp that will be friendly to a linux user? i
just downloaded the altavista free isp on my roommates computer, in hopes of
being able to set it up on my linux box. the only thing i was missing was
the dns numbers. so i called tech support and asked. but they were all
bastards and kept telling me that if i have windows 95,98, nt or 2000 that i
can run it. and i kept telling them that all i need is the dns numbers.
and they said that if i have windows, i can run it. and i told them that
all i needed was the dns numbers. and it went on like that for a while.
damn windows trained monkeys.
