some times my messages don't get through to the list so I hope this one does on my other linux mandrake 7 box i got the error when i tried startx & initx "execve failed for /etc/X11/X (errno 2)" i finally got into kde by typing x haha now the problem is when i get into it there is a x for a cursor and just a backround nothing else!
