Hello all, I am making my first attempt and installing any distro of LINUX. I d/l the iso for Mandrake 7 and burned it to CD. The install seems to go along fine until it gets to the portion of the process where it attempts to configure X It returns an error message as follows, file/mnt/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/cards not found The dialog box has an ok button which when pressed just brings up the same error message. It will not go away and my installation is hung and can not continue. Hardware involved. FIC PA 2006 MB, Cyrix PR233 Chip 2 X 32 meg EDO simms Cirrus Logic 1 Meg PCI video card, Maxtor 9034002 HDD 3.4 Gig Generic SVGA monitor Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
