I'm resending this again coz it did not get posted after several hours and
when I replied to a posting it posted itself after few minutes (??)
when i log on as either root or user i always get a message:
'X11 server DPMS is not supported'.
i think this has something to do w/ the power management. i'm trying to
setup my power down using 'apmd' but its message is 'not supported' or 'not
found'.
i have a Compaq AMD-K6-2 533 Mhz, is it because of my computer or something
went wrong during installation? I don't get any error messages upon
shutdown.
