[newbie] KPPP and PPPD

Still trying to figure out KPPP and PPPD

this is the error that KPPP displays as soon as I my modem connetcs with
my ISP

linux pppd[913]: The remote system is required to authenticate itself
but I
linux pppd[913]: couldn't find any secret (password) which would let it
use an IP address.
