[newbie] I want to program in C++, what's better?

Hi to all,

        I'm starting in Linux now, and because I'm developer, I want to develop
in Linux too, I work with C++ Builder, (in W98 of course), and I want
know if Linux got C++ language Visual engines, what C++ Compilers I can
use? witch one could be the better to start? and what other programs,
lib's, and more could I need to works well.

        I got Installed Mandrake 7.0-2, and I want develop in Kde.
