This Linux partition on your first HD
can be 
changed to a windoooz extended
partition.
But be carefull, /boot of linux must
reside 
in totaly before the 1024st cylinder to
be
safely.
So you can setup an extended dos
partition and a 
primary Linux /boot partition on your
first HD.
To do with FDISK.
