Well it happened again, I am beginning to think I have gremlins. The x-server crashed and I couldnt get XF86Setup to run. Couldn't make a tmp file. Xconfigurator would do nothing as well as xfconfig. So I rebooted. I know a lot of us had problems getting the S3 Trio3D/2X video card to work, could that be the problem with the crashes? I don't remember the exact messages but there were five or six relating to the SVGA. Any comments on a ATI Rage IIC video card? I need to get this problem resolved before I weaken and revert to Windows, and sucking my thumb. Let's take a poll of S3 users out there and if they are having problems. Thanks, we keep trying.
