Not exactly,
I have a P166, 80M Ram and installed Mandrake just fine .(It worked fine
when I had only 32M RAM) the diff is I upgraded to a 6GB harddrive and
used 250M for swap; my friend who belongs to my LUG has a P133 with 80M
RAM , 1,2GB drive and he's running RedHat6.2 with no problems.
My advice is to go to :
http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/
and search for your particular model.
They do a really good job
