|I have been having problems with install RPMs where it seems the install
|is abending and hogging memory on my machine. I've recently tried
|installing the KDE2 rpm's on my machine. If I do it from a console, I
|eventually get a message 'can't load interpreter' scrolling down the
|screen, and the rpm install just stops. I have to force a shutdown,
|which is scary. This happens with other rpm's as well.
|If I install from kpackage, I get the same thing. X-windows crashes
|back to the console with the message, 'can't load interpreter'. It
|appears, by watching xosview, that all my physical and swap memory gets
|full.
|Am I missing a switch here to install these things properly?
|Thanks.
|Harry
