I discovered x-screenserver in ver 7.1 KDE. I noticed that there were some items that were missing in the "demo" version shipped with 7.1 and x-screensaver tells you where to get them. I downloaded the missing items in .tar.gz format from where it said to find them. My question: I do not know what to do now to make them available to xscreensaver. 1. what tar command to use? 2. where should I put the decompressed files? 3. what else to do to make x-screensaver "see" them?
