i have just searched the archives and found this link to the docs on how to do an auto install but when i try to run the suggested prog off my install cd (/Mandrake/mdkinst/usr/bin/perl-install/g_auto_install) i get an error message saying that this prog cannot be run. i appear to have perl installed but there are also a lot of perl related rpms that are not installed, i was wondering if there was something specific that had to be on my system to get this prog to work, i have tried running it as root just in case as well. maybe the problem is something else, is any one familiar with this prog? bascule
