    Please note that this setting only works for Win95 OSR1 clients. OSR2 clients, Windows98, and Windows NT SP3 and up, use encrypted passwords for authentification purposes. If your network consists of such clients, you have to say 'yes' here and create a local password file using smbpasswd containing entries for all NetBIOS names on your network. Read man smbpasswd and ENCRYPTION.txt for more. If you are going to use anonymous shares only anyway, you don't have to bother.
