Linux Journal recommended this book, and while being descent I wish it was
had a little more meat to it, but it's a pretty large book already...

Unless you just like to have paper, you might check out www.ibooks.com, they
have some stuff on linux in electronic format for about half the price of
paper books.  And you can read it anywhere you have online access.
