   Aurora mini FAQ
  http://www.mandrakeforum.com/article.php3?sid=20001108042008
        you'll prob'ly also need these numbers:
set vga=xxx to one of the following

       Colours 640x480 800x600 1024x768 1280x1024 1600x1200
       --------+---------------------------------------------
       256     |  769    771      773      775      796
       32,768  |  784    787      790      793      797
       65,536  |  785    788      791      794      798
       16.8M   |  786    789      792      795      799

  EG, on my 17" 'vga= ' was set to 788 which makes Aurora run in a
800x600 Frame Buffer at 65k colors. Install auto picked this setting
for me, it looks fine. Lilo.conf looks like this:

image=/boot/vmlinuz
        label=linux
        root=/dev/hdb6
        initrd=/boot/initrd.img
        append=" hdd=ide-scsi"
        vga=788
        read-only

    Plan B: if you don't wanna fool with the FAQ's method, simply boot
your 7.2 install CD, choose 'Recommended' and 'Rescue' (upgrade), leave
your existing partitions alone, unselect all the packages, and run thru
the 'upgrade' in a matter of minutes. When you reboot, if LM install
determined that your video card will support frame buffer, you should
have Aurora working. Works for me, YMMV.
