[newbie] problem with update

I recently updated to the latest versions of cups 1.1.4-5.1, modutils
2.3.20-1.1, and tsch 1.09.04-1.1 uding mandrake update and they still
appear in the files-to-update window of mandrake update as if I have to
do them again. When I update again it erors and says that the rpms are
already installed. 

Is there something I have to do manually for the update program to
recognise that these programs are already installed on my system?
