[newbie] cookies in konqueror

it's me again! has anyone noticed if some sites that recognise cookies with 
netscape don't with konqueror?  can cookies be set to only work with certain 
browsers, i tried to do some online banking but the bank site insisted that i 
had cookies disabled even though i haven't
