I have installed an Adaptec SCSI card, and an external Philips CDD2600 CD-R on my Mandrake PC. After I put the card in, I booted it up. The machine knows the CD-R is there, because it detects it as SCSI ID 2 when it does the SCSI check. However, once I am in Mandrake, if I go to Harddrake, I can see the SCSI adapter, but not the CD-R. What else needs to be done in order for Mandrake to see and use this thing? Thanks, Brian
